News Ticker

The News Ticker displays short Messages and Iamges on the sheet. This is useful for mounted screens in public locations. There are multiple options how to display the news:

• As Scrolling Text
• As a Scrolling Slideshow
• As a Fading Slideshow

Data is added by configuring the Dimensions with the Values you need. For every display option you can specify a link opened when clicking the news.

Scrolling Text

You can configure how the sepeator should appear. You can specify a width or text as a seperator.

The text will scroll from right to left through the extension:

There will be one news visible at a time. The change is a slideshow with animation by scrollling in the next News:

Fading Slideshow

There will be one news visible at a time. The change is a slideshow with animation by fading away to the next News:

Styling

Images

Images set in the Dimension setting will displayed with the news together. The position relative to the text can be specified by using Image Position. Also the Image can be scaled by using Image Scaling.

Extension

You can configure the background color, border and FontSize of the extension. You can also hide the default Qlik Extension backgound and border.
