Settings

General

Language

The language can be changed in the settings. Texts will be updated in the properties panel and across the extension object.

Wait time for Server before Creation

Wait for a server response 2 seconds before creating the timeline. This can be useful if the timeline would be rendered twice once with the qlik data and then with the updated server data.

More Data available Icon

Display an icon or message if more than 800 blocks (the current maximum) are loaded.

Timeline

Configure the Timeline properties:

  • Minimum Zoom Level
  • Maximum Zoom Level
  • Zoom factor
  • Animate zoom - if the zoom should be animated (can have a preformance effect if a lot of blocks are loaded)
  • Start Interval - where the timeline should start by default and which interval should be chosen.

Block Info

The Block Info can be configured under Settings/Block Info:

  • The duration can chosen to be shown and formatted
  • If the block is resetted if the info should be closed

Task reload

Enabling either of the following two options requires you to select a task that should be triggered or should have its status shown. You can use the Select task dialog to comfortably search and select your task, or set the task id with a Qlik expression (This can be useful if you work with a test system and want to switch with a variable)

On demand task reload

This will show an clickable icon in the Info bar allowing users to trigger an task. An additional confirmation dialog can be enabled. Furthermore the button can be disable with a value of -1 or true. For example, this can be used to restrict reload access for certain users.
By default a small info will appear if a reload has been triggered.

Task status updates

In the center of the Info bar, the task status can be diplayed. You can choose between different display types, the progress display is based on the last run time of the task.

Trigger task on save

Start the task reload / app reload on pressing the save button.

Selection

You can change on which fields selections are made on, if the selection is made as a number and if the selection is disabled(-1 or true).

Marker

Display markers on the timeline. The markers can be configured under Settings/Marker in color, length and intervall.
